Recycled Water @ Pitt Town

Pitt Town Water is owned and operated by NSW's first private water utility for residential clients. Sewage is collected using a pressure sewer network and treated using an advanced process of MBR, UV and Chlorine. The recycled water is supplied back to homes and also used for irrigation of public open space.

Point Grey is a proposed 3,400 lot residential development located 1 hour south of Perth and remote from Water Corporation infrastructure. Due to the potentially high costs of connecting to Water Corporation, PBD Developments is currently investigating the on site production of drinking water from groundwater and the treatment and reuse of wastewater within the development.

Irrigation Water @ Royal Melbourne Golf Club

Royal Melbourne Golf Club's "Water for Irrigation" project provides up to 180ML / year of high quality irrigation water sourced from stormwater and groundwater. A mix of natural (surface wetland) and state of the art (membrane filtration) technologies are used for disinfection, salt removal and water recovery.

Sewer Mining @ Curlewis Golf Club

Curlewis Golf Club secures its future with an innovative sewer mining project. Raw sewage will be extracted from a rising main which runs along the Northern boundary of the golf course and processed into recycled water using a Membane Bioreactor (MBR) and Chlorination.

Drinking Water @ Bray Park

Bray Park Water Treatment Plant uses membrane filtration incorporating an innovative siphon design to provide up to 100MLD of drinking water to Tweed Shire residents. The membranes provide a physical barrier to pathogens and are well suited to treating the highly variable raw water from the Tweed River.

Sewer Mining @ Pennant Hills Golf Club

Pennant Hills Golf Club has elimated its reliance on potable water for irrigation through the use of sewer mining to produce high quality recycled water. Since commissioning in May 2008 the recycled water plant has provided over 160ML and the nutrients in the recycled water have cut fertiliser consumption on the golf course by over 80%.
