KURT DAHL ELECTED AS CO-CHAIR OF SWWS NETWORK

Kurt Dahl has been elected as co-chair of the committee for AWA's Specialist Network on Small Water and Wastewater Systems (SWWS) for the next two years. Kurt will work with the other co-chair Ben Kele to continue the good work of the network members in advancing small water and wastewater systems. The next two years will focus on engaging with the broader SWWS industry and building towards a SWWS conference in 2014. CANADA BAY SECURES AUD$1.89M IN FUNDING

Permeate Partners congratulates the City of Canada Bay in securing $1.89M in funding from the third round of the Federal Government's "Stormwater Harvesting and Reuse Grants". Following the completion of the Water Security Masterplan Permeate Partners assisted the City of Canada Bay in the preparation of a funding application. FINALIST IN 2011 NSW GREEN GLOBE AWARDS

Permeate Partners and Pennant Hills Golf Club have been acknowledged for their pioneering efforts in the establishment and operation of Sydney's first sewer mining project. Selection as a finalist in the 2011 NSW Green Globe Awards recognises the efforts of both parties in each of the four judging criteria, namely Leadership, Market Transformation, Outcomes & Benefits and Engagement.

CURLEWIS SECURES $750,000 IN FUNDING

Permeate Partners congratulates Curlewis Golf Club in securing $750,000 in funding from the Victorian Stormwater and Urban Recycling Fund (SURF) towards their sewer mining project. Permeate Partners assisted CGC in the preparation of their funding application and continues to be involved in the overall project delivery. WINNER - EXCELLENCE IN INFRASTRUCTURE - VICTORIAN STORMWATER AWARDS

Permeate Partners, in conjunction with Royal Melbourne Golf Club, received the "2010 Excellence in Infrastructure" award at the recent Victorian Stormwater Association awards. The award aknowledges the innovative and best practice aspects of our " Water for Irrigation" project at Royal Melbourne Golf Club (see projects section on this website for more information). Our win in Victoria provides automatic entry into the National Awards which will be held in Sydney in early Nov 2010.
